1) "Introduction to Poetry" - could be used to start the unit
13) "Did I Miss Anything" - about a kid missing class, could be used for irony
21)  "Wheels" - about the different vehicles at stages in a life, and the eternal quality of images vs.   the fleeting quality of life
59)  "Lesson" - about a personal feeling of racism and feeling safe, war  (could be used with song "Strange Fruit")
91)  "Timely Enumerations Concering Sri Lanka" - lots of imagery about place, could be used as a prompt for students to write a poem about their own country using sensory imagery)
118) "Notice" - good use of imagery to address idea of death and appreciation for life
133)  "The Summer Day" - gives good visual imagery
141)  "The End and the Beginning" - about war and witnesses
145)  "The Yawn" - about a chance encounter with a girl and its impact ( use of onomatopoeia - will make the reader yawn!)
