Junior Instructional English - Summer Reading Requirements

Junior Instructional English focuses on American authors, so you must choose a book that meets the following criteria for your summer reading:

It must be written by an American author (any time period or setting).

It can be fiction or nonfiction.

It must be a book that is not a movie or a television show.

It must be a book that you have not read for another class or will not read in the upcoming year.

(Books you will read this upcoming year might include The Great Gatsby, The President Has Been Shot, and The Things They Carried).
